Revival Reports -
From Florida to West GA
Miracles, Signs & Wonders
Last week I had the privilege to be in the
Florida Healing Outpouring, as it has come to be known, in Lakeland, FL. Every
revivalist, as well as those who hunger for the manifest presence of God, would
benefit greatly in being a part of history in the making. Unless you’ve been
living under a rock, you are already aware of the prophetic implications these
revival meetings are having.
This is as much a ‘media revival’ as
anything, with literally hundreds of reports of healings and miracles over the
airwaves of internet and satellite streaming. Therefore, rather than deal with
what we saw and did at the meetings, I want to share briefly on what we’ve
personally seen in our own sphere of Kingdom influence since being in the
meetings.
Friday -
On Friday, April 25th, we launched a West
Georgia community wide “Catch the Fire” of revival meetings, located
on the Bremen Food Bank Campus. A place where miracles have been occurring
regularly since last fall. I just want to mention that during this meeting while
praying for people, supernatural oil manifested on a couple of the ladies that
had received prayer. One, whose forehead and hair was quite “drenched” in
this holy substance. Another lady’s hands began to manifest oil, even though
she didn’t recognize it as what it was initially. She kept saying it was like
“greasy hand lotion.” Although, she hadn’t used any.
These manifestation were also quite common
during the healing revival in the ‘40’s and ‘50’s. I distinctly remember
my late friend Ruth Ward Heflin telling me as a little girl attending an A. A.
Allen meeting with her parents. She said she remembers this man standing,
leaning against one of the tent poles crying. His hands were hanging down open
with copious amounts of oil dripping from them.
A sign is just a “sign” to point to the
reality of the Person of Jesus Christ. We are not going to get caught up in the
fads of “manifestations.” Nevertheless, when revival comes, so comes the
signs.
Sunday -
On Sunday, April 27th, while ministering at
Kingdom Rock church, (Also located on the Bremen Food Bank Campus) we saw many
miracles and healings taking place, rather easily, mostly through direct words
of knowledge.
-
One woman, deaf for 30 years in one ear,
ear “popped open.”
-
Diabetes took a direct hit with many
reporting normal blood sugar levels since Sunday.
-
One man with an injured foot from a lawn
mower accident, as well as a torn rotator cuff, instantly healed. He began
jumping up and down on his previously painful foot.
-
A deacon of the church reported to me
yesterday his vision has returned to normal after being prayed for - for
glaucoma.
-
A couple of young men delivered from “meth”
addiction.
And the reports are still coming in.
Tuesday -
On Tuesday April 29th while ministering at the
Food Bank in the AM session, several people were instantly healed from pain
related injuries and arthritic conditions.
One lady who had knee surgery, still remained
in tremendous pain. She raised her hand and asked if I would pray for her.
(Remember, this isn’t a “church service” it is food distribution with a
preceding ...ugh, ..devotional) I touched her knee and just said the name, “Jesus”.
I then grabbed her by the hand and we walked. She put her other hand over her
mouth and began to cry, saying, “I can’t believe it,...I can’t believe it.”
She left totally healed.
As my time ran out I had a word of knowledge
about a partially deaf right ear on the back row. An older woman raised her
hand. Actually, the people next to her pointed to her...she couldn’t hear
good...get it? With all my time gone, I told her to put her finger in her own
ear and I commanded the deafness to go. She removed her finger and began
yelling...,“I can hear... I can hear.”
Believe It -
Or, Not!
And, while what I save for last maybe isn’t
the most notable miracle, because of the circumstances it rates high on the
charts.
When I returned for the afternoon session I
was met by two of the volunteers who work every Tuesday giving their time to
help others. The lady and her husband have been working there much longer than I
have been ministering there. The lady didn’t want me to identify her because
...,“she don’t believe in this kind of thing.” That is, miracles
and healings. She told me she didn’t believe God would just instantly take
away someone’s pain.
Nevertheless, she wanted to tell me what
happened to her during our short time of morning ministry. Now, while she asked
me not to use her name...for reasons unknown to me, her husband, Leroy
Dickerson, said he didn’t have a problem sharing her testimony...and this is
what they told me.
Several weeks ago she began to have serious
back pain. While she didn’t go to a medical doctor, she did begin to take pain
medication from an old prescription because the pain was so severe. She had been
“adjusted” by a chiropractor which gave minimal relief. Still, several weeks
into this, her pain was becoming a “torment.”
At the close of the morning session I had
asked everyone with “pain” just to raise their hands and I would pray a
blanket prayer over all of them. We did and many raised their hands that their
pain had left. At that time, her husband, Leroy, told her to raise her
hand...which she did...even though she didn’t believe it. She told me her pain
instantly left and she actually felt “good.” Although she reiterated to
me...,“I don’t believe in this.”
So, in closing, we just want to focus on an
extremely good God, Who does extremely good things for His people...sometimes,
whether they believe it or not.
This is “Church - out-of-the-box”.
We simply end with this cry...
“PLEASE...MORE, LORD! May this outpouring
never end!”
My Embrace,
Eddie
